Starting to Arrive at Port!

The dice shipments have officially arrived at port for both our USA and Australia shipping locations! That means they’re now moving through the final stages before they can be paired up with your MagVaults and sent out into the world.
At the moment, we’re still waiting on the MagVault units themselves to be dropped off and processed by the warehouses. Once that happens and everything is accounted for, the teams will be ready to start shipping orders out.

In the background, I'm working on sorting out logistics and tech integrations with the fulfillment services to make sure everything runs smoothly so that shipping can begin as soon as the MagVaults are ready.
Thank you all for the continued patience and excitement, we’re getting very close to the finish line now. I’ll keep you posted as soon as the MagVaults arrive and shipping officially begins!

Exciting and relieving news- we were able to wrap production up just before the Lunar New Year holiday deadline, which means your dice and MagVaults are set to make their journey across the sea!
What happens next?
The shipments are expected to arrive around mid-March. Once it lands, it will need to be received and processed before orders can begin heading out to you. If all goes smoothly, I’m calculating that last-leg shipping will begin in early–mid April, with parcels arriving shortly after depending on your location.
As we get closer, I’ll share more detailed timing updates.

From a lot of survey responses, many of you were asking about note-taking resources… not realizing that’s actually what I do- the stationery part of Sphinx Stationery.
I’ve started redesigning my journals for the 2024 Rules, incorporating years of player feedback. The new version moves to a binder-style, add/remove format, with refined layouts from more years at the table while keeping the core of what makes a Sphinx journal a Sphinx journal: wet-erase materials, minimal design, and opinionated, ADHD-friendly organization.

This is a bit of a quieter update, but that doesn't mean it's bad.
Not much has changed since the last check-in, which means everything is moving along as planned. I’ve received the vast majority of surveys and have finalized production numbers with all manufacturers, and everything is now in the production phase. (If you still haven't completed your survey and need additional help, please reach out at this link!)
The main variable at the moment is the upcoming Chinese New Year holiday. I’m still aiming to have everything shipped before the holiday break, but we are cutting it a little close. Worst case, there may be a small delay if production overlaps with the holiday shutdown, and I wanted to be upfront about that.
At this stage, it’s a practice of patience while production does its thing. I really appreciate yours, and I will share updates as soon as there’s anything meaningful to report.

Locking in orders and charging cards!

Just a quick one-
I’ll be locking orders and charging cards for shipping and add ons in BackerKit! The exact flow will be a 48 Hour Lock notice to allow you to make any last minute item changes. Then a 48 Hour Card Charge notice, so you can make sure your card has funds.
If you're moving soon, you'll still be able to update your address until the Address Lock, which will be closer to when they're ready to ship.
If you haven’t filled out your survey yet, please do that ASAP!
If you’re paying over time, no worries at all! This won’t affect your pledge or your rewards in any way. Everything will continue exactly as planned on your payment schedule.
Late Pledging will also still be available!
I’m really excited to share that initial deposits have been made and production is officially underway for both the MagVault and the dice 🎉 so we're officially moving with steam now!

A quick but important update today, BackerKit surveys have officially been out for about a week, and I need your help to keep our production timeline on track!
Please complete your survey as soon as you can😊
To stay on schedule for manufacturing, I want to get ~MOST~ surveys in before December 15th so I know how much to order so everyone gets what they want. Your survey is where you choose your MagVault colors, pick any add-ons, and confirm your shipping details, so it’s one of the biggest steps between now and full production.
Can’t find your survey email?
Look for an email from BackerKit. You can search your inbox for:
“Sphinx Stationery” or "MagVault"
[email protected]
Sometimes BackerKit emails land in promotions or spam folders, so be sure to check there too!
Using Apple ID or an alternate Kickstarter email?
If you signed into Kickstarter with Apple ID or a different email than you normally use, the survey may have been sent to that address.
If you still can’t find it, please reach out directly to BackerKit Support they’re super fast and can re-send or update your survey email.
Paying over time?
Absolutely no worries, that's why i said I'd like most done! You will not have access to the surveys until the final payment is complete, just shoot me a message I'll have a manual tally and make sure I have enough of each color:)
Updating your shipping address
You’ll be able to update your shipping address right up until I fully lock addresses before fulfillment. So no stress if you’re moving or unsure, just make sure your survey is filled out now so I can keep production moving!
