Backerkit Surveys Are Coming! 🎉

It’s finally happening! BackerKit surveys will be going out over the next few days, so keep an eye on your inbox! This is the stage where I get to collect your color choices, confirm your add-ons, and start locking everything in for production. I am so excited to take this next step with you😊
For full transparency, BackerKit sends a small Smoke Test first, about 5% of backers receive the survey to make sure everything is clear and working as intended. Once that checks out, the rest of the surveys go out making it a slightly longer process.
Below are the images of all current prototype designs. Seeing them all together has made the whole project feel real, and I can’t wait for you to check them out!
A couple of quick notes:
Pay-over-time backers: Your survey will be sent once all payments have been completed.
International backers: If you're outside Australia, New Zealand, or the U.S., you may be responsible for import duties & taxes depending on your country’s rules.
About colors: The prototype interiors appear a little darker than what we’re aiming for in the final production units. I’m still working closely with the manufacturer to get everything perfectly cohesive before mass production begins.

Late Pledging Available and Other FYIs

I took a few days to breathe and reset, and have been doing some things in the background, but now, I’m back and diving into the next steps!
Late Pledging Now Open
For anyone who missed the Kickstarter, late pledging is now live through BackerKit at a slightly higher price than you, in the main Kickstarter cohort, received. We only gather the pledge information and then payments for these will be collected once pledge surveys go out.
Final Prototypes in Progress
I’ve already fronted the cost for the final prototype round of all the colorways and designs. My goal is to have photos ready before surveys go out, so you can visualize exactly what you’re selecting.
No worries if you change your mind, you’ll be able to change your selections anytime up until production begins. I’ll make sure everyone gets a clear look before anything is locked in.
Pledge Surveys & Add-Ons
Speaking of, I’m currently building the pledge surveys and add-on options in the background. You can expect surveys to roll out within the next few weeks, that’s when you’ll choose your vault and dice colors and add any extras you’d like.
Right now, I’m just waiting for the campaign funds to clear from Kickstarter and colorways to be finalized before those can officially be sent.
What’s Next
The next update will come when the final prototypes are ready and surveys are released. I can’t wait to show you how everything’s shaping up!

I can’t thank you enough for making this project such a huge success. I’m beyond grateful to have found so many likeminded nerds who truly understand the care and thought that went into it. Even in my wildest dreams, I never imagined the TTRPG community would rally behind it like this- I shouldn't have ever doubted! 🥹
But now, it's time to get to work!
What Happens Next
Kickstarter is currently processing the funds, which usually takes at least two weeks (but can take up to 28 days) to get to me.
While we're waiting on that, I'll be trying to front the money for the pre-production deposit so I can get production samples of all of the colors before you guys choose your color choices during the pledge management survey I send out. In the mean time, I'll be working on putting that together and hopefully get it sent out within in the 2-3 weeks! You guys will complete it to:
- Choose your MagVault color(s) and any other custom options tied to your pledge.
- Have the chance to add on extra items if you missed something during the campaign.
You will be able to change colors and manage your pledge through Backerkit until I lock and finalize it, closer to when I'm getting ready to ship to you.
⚠️ Important: I have not collected shipping costs yet. This will be added during the BackerKit survey step so that everything’s accurate based on your region and any extras you pick up.

Ongoing Updates
I’ll be keeping you fully in the loop throughout production, shipping, and fulfillment. Expect regular updates here and via email as prototypes move into manufacturing and the vaults begin their journey to you.

We're in the final few days of this campaign and I can’t believe we’ve hit the AU$200k mark, absolutely unreal! Your support for this project (and for me!) has completely blown me away🥹
🎲 Dice Update
In my last post, I asked what you all thought about adding more dice options and the overall response was pretty lukewarm, which is totally fine! I’ve decided to keep the current dice lineup as is and focus my energy on making everything else perfect.
✨ Adjusted Celestial Design
I’ve also made a small update to the Celestial design based on feedback from a few of you who preferred it without the zodiac symbols. Here’s the finalized version, I think it's pretty clean now!

Do we want more dice colors?
Before we get to the other good stuff, what do you think about these extra colors? Nobody’s been shouting for more options, but I was playing around with the idea anyway. If it’s overkill, totally say so because that's what Kickstarter's all about!
